“I’m just thrilled to finally be able to tell my kids this, but there’s a big problem: Gotham is dead.”—Dan Harmon, creator and executive producer of “Community” on NBCUniversal “Gothams” has been around for two decades now.
It has spawned two television series and two movies, and it was the first show to bring Gotham back to the small screen.
And though the show was not without its problems, Harmon has since grown to become one of the most successful creators in television.
“GOTHAM” has spawned three films and two television shows, with the third, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” set to premiere in March.
The series has had an unprecedented run and has sold more than 30 million episodes, according to the studio, which has not divulged how many people have watched it.
And yet, Harmon is adamant that Gotham is not dead.
“I want to do more of the same,” Harmon told Variety.
“You can’t keep doing this stuff forever.
“It’s just kind of gone, and Gotham’s really going to take a big hit in terms of the amount of time we have to do this, as we try to figure out how to make this work and not take a step back.” “
The Gotham mythos has never been dead,” Harmon continued.
“It’s just kind of gone, and Gotham’s really going to take a big hit in terms of the amount of time we have to do this, as we try to figure out how to make this work and not take a step back.”
“I know I’m not the only one,” Harmon added, “who has wondered what’s going to happen when this all blows over.”
“GOTCHA: The Man in the High Castle” director Dan Lin and actor Sammo Hung star in the upcoming film, which was inspired by the series.
The film will follow an ambitious new Batman who will join forces with the Man in Black to protect Gotham City from the supernatural menace known as “the Joker.”
The film is slated for a 2019 release.
“My hope is that it’ll be a fun movie,” Harmon said.
“That’s why I’m so excited about it.
I’m hoping that the characters in the film are so well written, so well crafted.
“Batman is going in for another shot at the big time, and you’re going to get to see the Joker.” “
If I could just be the Batman that everyone loves, I would go into this film knowing that I’m in for a very good time,” he added.
“Batman is going in for another shot at the big time, and you’re going to get to see the Joker.”
“We’re all about the film, and what it means to Gotham,” Harmon concluded.
“So hopefully this will help people understand what’s happening in Gotham.
We’ll be really happy.”
