Waste management truck found dumped in Riverbank

Posted November 02, 2018 07:11:36A waste management contractor has been fined $100 after a waste management van was found dumped into the Riverbank.
The City of Rockhampton said it received the notice from the Waste Management Department of the incident in Riverview on Wednesday, November 1, 2018.
The van was removed from the water after being found and removed from a site in the riverbank.
A waste treatment contractor is currently in charge of the van and is responsible for ensuring the waste management facility is safe.
He has been ordered to pay $100 in fines.
The Department said it is reviewing its policies.
